PARKING

Parking in the village during the festival can be a challenge, so plan to arrive early and park in one of the satellite parking lots ($10.00 donation to a local non-profit) and take a FREE shuttle bus, which run continuously during the day. You can find parking lot locations on the Festival Map.

For all GPS or mapping program users: type in 225 West Street (Warwick Middle/High School) or 10 Park Ave (Park Avenue Elementary School) both in Warwick, New York, which will bring you designated parking lots where you can park your car for $10, and then take a free shuttle bus right into the heart of the festival.

Free shuttle buses will run continuously between satellite parking areas ($10.00 parking) -- at the Warwick Middle School, Warwick Valley High School, Park Avenue School, and Memorial Park on Forester Avenue -- and the heart of the festival area.

Handicapped parking is located at the Warwick Valley Middle School.

By Bus

On Saturday, the day before Applefest, there is a bus from NYC’s Port Authority to the Village of Warwick, and you can stay overnight (see lodging information on dropdown menu).

IMPORTANT NOTE - Because of the heavy traffic on Sunday – the day of Applefest –buses are unable to come into the Village.

If you take a bus on Saturday (the day before Applefest), (NJ TRANSIT 196/197) you can take the bus right to the Village and stay in one of our lovely Bed & Breakfast inns.  Some B & Bs are located within easy walking distance from the bus stop near Burger King, as well as the festival site. Then you don’t have to worry about parking at all.
